Rooms

Stroll through the castle’s winding corridors and enjoy the property’s historic flair. Some of the rooms feature cosy slanted ceilings and beams. The rooms are individually appointed and boast a size of 12-22 m². An underground walkway connects the new Orangery annexe to the castle. The modern rooms include Italian rattan furniture and will seduce you with their warm Mediterranean ambience. All rooms have a balcony with large windows. The rooms boast a size of 22-30 m². Upon request, you can book rooms and suites on the lake side.

Hotel details

The large wellness area includes a panoramic swimming pool overlooking lake Müritz, a snail shell shower, steam sauna and Finnish sauna. Look forward to heated stone loungers, the tepidarium, fitness room and so-called “biological” sauna with less challenging temperatures. The hotel also offers conference rooms and function rooms.

Food & Beverages

The Restaurant Garten Eden (Garden of Eden) will treat you to exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. Try the irresistible cakes and gateaux from the castle’s own pastry baker’s. The terrace provides wonderful views of lake Müritz. The rustic restaurant Ritter Artus Keller (Knight Arthur’s Cellar) will tempt you with hearty regional dishes. Its terrace overlooks the castle gardens and lake Müritz. The gourmet restaurant Madame Medici in the Orangery also features panoramic views of lake Müritz. Please note that this restaurant is currently closed. The Restaurant Orangerie offers a rich breakfast buffet in the morning. This restaurant’s lunches and dinners are ideal for business functions and groups. The Fischerhus restaurant is situated near the port, only 200 metres from the hotel. You can enjoy regional fish specialities here. The castle’s piano bar is open from 20:00 on every day of the week. On Fridays and Saturdays, the bar hosts DJ sets. The chimney bar diagonally across from the reception treats you to invigorating punch and “Glühwein” (mild wine).

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Breakfast costs EUR 12.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
