McSweeney Arms Hotel's good location and comfortable accommodation makes it a great base from which to enjoy the delights of Killarney and the magnificent coastline of South-West Ireland.

Tony’s Sandtrap Bar and Restaurant is the heart of the hotel for guests and locals alike. It has grown in character over the years and is renowned for its warm atmosphere, great food and good company. The bar is a great place to meet, talk sports or just enjoy the surroundings. With 7 TV screens, all sports are catered for. The bar regularly plays host to a blend of residents, locals and people just passing through. One quiet drink often turns into a great night out! Full of character, the bar is full of convivial charm and overlooks Killarney's oldest street. When the weather is fine, you can sit out and people-watch, as Killarney goes about its daily business. Hunters Restaurant serves top cuisine and offers both a table d’hôte and an à la carte menu. Hunters is open from Tuesday to Saturday.

Staff will be happy to assist you in arranging your golf trip, and offer little tips on the charms of each course. Killarney’s race course hosts terrific meetings throughout the year and is renowned as one of the most scenic courses in the world.

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
