All 8 of the hotel’s rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities you need in a relaxing base, such as flat-screen TVs. Every room is finished to an extremely high standard and most of the rooms have views of the lake and the fells.

Overlooking Skiddaw and Cat Bells, Derwent Lodge is a charming 8-bedroom, 3-star country house hotel that provides a luxurious base for your holiday, whilst at the same time maintaining an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel provides plentiful outdoor seating on the terraces and patio to take advantage of the stunning views.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served from 08:00 - 10:00. Bar meals are freshly prepared using local produce where possible. Daily specials are also offered.

Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 30.00 will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 30 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
