All of the en suite rooms have full central heating, valued throughout, TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The Mary Mount Hotel’s cosy oak-panelled bar has a real open fire for the colder winter months. Dogs are welcome in some of the rooms. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu and a regional wine list. The licensed restaurant has large picture windows with spectacular panoramic views across Derwentwater to the fells beyond.

Choose from a range of cereals or fruits from the breakfast bar (with porridge available too) and then enjoy a full English breakfast, with a choice of items from a wide range. You can also enjoy as much tea, coffee and toast as you like, to accompany your breakfast. The hotel can also supply quality packed lunches and fill your own flasks for you.

Mary Mount is only metres from the Lodore landing stage of the Keswick Launch on Derwentwater, which offers a regular boat service around the lake and to Keswick. There is also a regular bus service.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All children under 12 years are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
