Food & Beverages

The award-winning Port Tavern and Grille is located on-site and features only the freshest seafood and highest quality meats. The restaurant features a variety of unique sauces, local favorites and classic dishes. Guests can enjoy dining in this casual yet elegant atmosphere either indoors or on the restaurants lovely outdoor garden patio, overlooking the Kennebunk River. The restaurant is open daily from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A deluxe complimentary continental breakfast is also offered for all hotel guests

Deposit Policy We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For a multiple night stay or package, a deposit of half of the total charge is due at the time of booking. For a one night stay, the full amount is due as a deposit at the time of booking. Please note that your credit card will be charged at the time the reservation is made. Cancellation Policy Reservations are subject to a USD 25 processing fee if cancellation is 14 or more days prior to the arrival date. If cancellation is within 14 days of the arrival date, we will retain your full deposit.

Travel information

FROM THE SOUTH: Get on the Maine Turnpike. From the Maine Turnpike (I-95) take Exit 19 [formerly Exit 2] (Wells). Go through the Tollbooth, and turn left at lights. At the next traffic light turn left onto Route 1 North, Approximately 2 miles bear right onto Route 9. Follow Route 9 for roughly 6-7 miles. While traveling, you will pass through two sets of traffic lights. Shortly after driving through the second traffic light (intersection of Routes 35 and 9), you will drive over a metal drawbridge. This will bring you to Dock Square, Kennebunkport. Stay on Route 9 (do not turn right onto Ocean Avenue). Just ahead on the left, you will see a large tree on one side of our driveway, and our sign on the other side (dark green with gold lettering). Turn left into the driveway, and you will see the Inn, a tall white Victorian building with green shutters. Drive up to the front door and come on in to the Front Desk to check in.

The town of Kennebunkport and the area surrounding the hotel is filled with a variety of activities that are sure to please everyone. Guests can enjoy whale watching, fishing excursions, sailing, museums, tours of historical homes and a number of antique shops, all situated only a short distance away from the hotel. Beautiful beaches and a number of water and recreational activities are also located in close proximity.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of USD 25.00 will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  USD 5.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to three children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All further older children or adults are charged USD 25.00 per night when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Groups

No special conditions apply for groups.
