Food & Beverages

Choice wines harmonise perfectly with our carefully chosen dishes. The professional fishermen of Lake Brienz provide us with freshly caught fish every day. The meat coms from the Jungfrau region. In winter our chef will pamper you in our rotisserie, where you can watch him prepare your dish.

The restaurant and the hotel are open all year, with the exception of a few days around Christmas and New Year. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Hotel guests are recommended to have dinner at the Hotel Chalet du Lac or at the Strandhotel, both of which are nearby and can be reached on foot.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed. No extra charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children from 2 to 12 years are charged CHF 8.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 2 to 12 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
