Area information

Avalon Guest House is just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre. There is a golf course, skating rink and leisure pool 200 metres along the road. The recently renovated Eden Court Theatre is also only a few minutes’ walk away, as is the River Ness, Inverness Castle and Caledonian Canal. Inverness is the perfect base from which to explore the Highlands of Scotland. Key attractions are: Eilean Donan Castle, Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Aviemore, Cairngorm National Park, Ben Nevis, Isle of Skye, John O'Groats and many more. For the more active visitor there are some stunning walks and cycle routes.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 25.00 will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
