Recently refurbished to an excellent standard, valued throughout, the Red Lion in Hythe is now under new ownership and offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, a cosy traditional bar and comfortable en suite rooms. The bar offers a wide selection of lagers and local ales, highly regarded, as well as spirits, an extensive wine list and a variety of teas and freshly brewed coffees. The friendly and relaxed bar has comfortable leather sofas in front of a real wood burner. From bar snacks to the à la carte menu, very much appreciated, all of the food is freshly cooked, using only the best quality, locally sourced produce. There is also a secluded garden area with a gravelled area with seating and a large grassed area beyond. Each individually decorated en suite room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The menu changes regularly to reflect the availability of fresh, and above all, seasonal ingredients.
