Rooms at the Steigenberger are well-appointed with space and feature a sitting area, private bathroom and amenities, and a terrace or balcony overlooking the sea in addition to views of the pool or golf course. Room service is available 7 days a week around-the-clock. You can enjoy breakfast in bed, a quick snack or have a romantic private dinner for two. Selections include international and Egyptian specialities. An ironing board and slippers are available on request.

Food & Beverages

There are 5 dining outlets at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel, as well as room service and lunch box options for excursions. You can enjoy Oriental, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. There are a variety of buffet, à la carte and light snack menus to choose from. Dine by the poolside or enjoy the ambience at the golf house, which features views of the beach and golf course.

Customers should be advised that there are compulsory gala dinners at the hotel on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Children aged 6 to 12 years pay 50% of these supplements, children below the age of 6 are free. Supplements are already included in the room rate, while any possible child or children supplement/s will be calculated directly at the hotel at the time of visit.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is not applicable.  12 % service charge per room per night is included.  2 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  All inclusive costs USD 80.00 per person.  Half board costs USD 52.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 13 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One further child from 6 to 13 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
