The natural surroundings of the the hotel provide a great number of leisure activities: hiking on numerous walking paths, very much appreciated, swimming in a natural bay of Lake Lucerne, boat rides and excursions, hiking, tennis and golf. The Basel-Gotthard motorway exit can be reached very quickly, valued throughout, while a direct scheduled bus service runs to Lucerne every 10 minutes.

Please be aware that extra beds are available only on request and have to be confirmed by the hotel. Children up to 5 years sleeping in their parents' bed will be charged a small amount for breakfast. Requests will only be accepted in English, French or German. Please note that from September to May the restaurants are closed on Mondays.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 1.65 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged CHF 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 90.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.  

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
