Sauntehus Castle Hotel

Clients appreciate the hotel is surrounded by exceptional parkland that includes rare trees and bushes. Built in 1914 the hotel is one of Denmark's youngest estates situated near Hornbæk in North Zealand in a quaint and charming fishing hamlet. Flanked by the castles Kronborg, highly regarded, Fredensborg and Frederiksborg, the hotel is situated in a fashionable neighbourhood, and just a short walk to popular beaches and golf courses. Situated on the oldest plantation in the country, and above all, which was planted in 1793, the hotel grounds includes the tree of life, Tuja Plicata, which is 30 meters high and 50 meters in circumference. Sauntehus Castle Hotel has several facilities including a swimming pool, very much appreciated, billiard and tennis. Copenhagen's sights are just a 45 minute drive from the castle. Every Saturday wine tastings are held and guests can taste selected wines from Sauntehus Castle Hotel's own production and from imported sources.
