Hotel details

Dating from 1964, the family-run business has been lovingly renovated and extended throughout the years. Its original agricultural character has been carefully preserved. The charming veranda, the hotel’s latest addition, invites you to enjoy your food and admire the idyllic views. The hotel is a pleasant location for private celebrations. In 2007, the hotel was officially classified as a “national-park-friendly” establishment.

Food & Beverages

Look forward to delicious homemade cakes in the afternoon. The restaurant will treat you to à la carte delights, typical Harz specialities, and fine German cuisine. Make sure to try the chef’s international favourites and seasonal creations. Only the freshest produce is selected. Up to 45 guests can be seated in the traditional dining area. In summer, you can enjoy your meal in the beer garden.

Guests that arrive later than 22:00 are kindly asked to inform the hotel about their approximate arrival time prior to their day of arrival.

Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children under 14 years are charged EUR 7.50 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
