Rooms

All our rooms contain very comfortable beds whether they are queen size, king size or twin beds. One child is always allowed to sleep in the parent’s bed at a surcharge of SEK 100. If you book a room for more than 2 guests, the other guests will sleep in 1 - 2 roll-away extra beds. Cleaning is only included on the day of departure however extra cleaning can be arranged at a surcharge.

Enjoy your holiday in the best area in Helsingborg in a large house situated on the beach, just north of city centre. Here, you will find large personally decorated lounges with open fireplaces and beautiful terraces facing the sea. Guests from all over the world gather here, including Japan, Australia, South Africa, Brazil and the USA. The Guest-House is open all year. You can enjoy our breakfast buffet with local specialities in the sun, have a swim in the sea (only 2 miles across the strait to Denmark) with the Hamlet castle of Kronborg facing you. You can have lunch in one of the many restaurants nearby, go for a walk in the nature reserve outside our garden just a mile from the Royal summer castle of Sofiero, and relax with a massage in the afternoon. No smoking within the garden or indoors.

Food & Beverages

A large breakfast buffet, with a Scandinavian touch, is served to B&B guests each morning beetwen 09.00-10.00. It is possible to order half-board via catering from Sweden's first TV chef! The dining room, kitchenette and terrace tables are available for catered or microwaved meals between 12.00 - 22.00. There is an excellent restaurant 200 yards away and is open all year round while during May-September several restaurants and cafe´s operate that are less than a mile away. Helsingborg takes pride in having the most outdoor eateries and some of the leading restaurants in Sweden. We have bargain deals with the restaurant Gastro, which during 2008 was ranked as having the 9th best food in Sweden and won the "most worth a visit" award!

If the booking is regarding more than 1 room or longer than 2 nights the remaining 80%, after deposit has been paid, will be charged 4 weeks before arrival. In case of cancellation 2 weeks prior to date of arrival 50% of the charged amount will be refunded. If canceled later, 30% of the charged amount will be refunded. Please inform the guest house at least one day before arrival at what time you would like to arrive. You will find the hotel's telephone number in your booking confirmation. Check-in time is between 15:00-18:00. Arrivals later or earlier than this need to be arranged with the guest house and will be charged an additional cost of SEK 200. Please note that smoking is not allowed within the garden.

Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children or adults are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.  One child from 0 to 12 years is charged SEK 100.00 per night when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
