Rooms

Hostel rooms for 2 have a queensize bed of great comfort. Rooms for more than 2 have roll away-sparebeds for the other guests. Twin beds instead of double beds available at a surcharge. NB that Twin Room has private bathroom ensuite but other rooms have shared toilets and shared showers. Dorm rooms have roll-away spare beds,maximum 4 guests in same dorm. Dorm beds with hotel comfort available at a surcharge. The hostel guest must bring bedlinen; sheets, duvet cover, pillow cover and towels. The bed must be made up at check in, will be inspected. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Bedlinen can be rented at a surcharge. Microwave facilities only.

Hotel details

Prices are based on guests bringing their own bedlinen, making their own breakfasts, sharing toilets and showers and keeping the place quiet, comfortable, friendly and tidy. All hotel services available at a surcharge.

Food & Beverages

Hostel guests preparing their own breakfast are welcome to use dining room and kitchenette 07 - 8.30 and 10.30 - 11.30. The dining room and kitchenette and terrace tables are available for catered or microwaved meals 12 - 22. There is an excellent restaurant at 200 yards distance open all year and during May-Sept several restaurants and cafe´s within a mile. Helsingborg prouds itself having the most outdoor eating in Sweden and some of the leading restaurants in Sweden. We have bargain deals with Gastro, 2008 ranked the 9th best food in Sweden and won the "most worth a visit" award!

Please note that check-in time is between 15:00-18:00. Arrivals later or earlier than this need to be arranged with the hostel and will be charged an additional cost on SEK 200. Please inform the hostel at least one day before arrival at what time you would like to arrive. You will find the hostel's telephone number in your booking confirmation. 20 % of the total will be charged to your credit card immediately. This is not refundable. The reminder is charged 4 weeks before arrival date if you are staying more than 3 nights or in more than 2 rooms, otherwise at check-in. The cleaning surcharge is charged when checking in, Euro 5 per night/person but maximum Euro 20 pp. Please note that smoking is not allowed within the garden.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs SEK 20.00 per hour. 

Parking

Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs SEK 50.00 per day. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs SEK 65.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.  One child from 0 to 12 years is charged SEK 100.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
