Travel information

By Car From York: - Proceed along the A6460 and at the main roundabout, take the turn onto the A59 Skipton Road. - Proceed, and take the 5th left onto Kings Road. - Continue past the pelican crossing and turn left onto Franklin Mount. - Proceed to the top of Franklin Mount and take a sharp right-hand turn. The Ashley is approx 200 yards on the left-hand side. From Leeds: - Come into Harrogate on the A61, and at the main roundabout turn right onto the A6040. - Proceed to the next roundabout, and turn left onto the A59. - Proceed, and take the 5th left onto Kings Road. - Continue as above. The hotel can send a map by post or email, on request.

Area information

The Ashley House is situated in a quiet, tree-lined street just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and 2 minutes' walk from the main exhibition halls and conference centre. Also located a short walk away are the beautiful Valley Gardens of Harrogate, the famous Pump Room Museum and the marvellous Betty's Tea Rooms. There is a very varied selection of bars and excellent restaurants, and a bustling night life. Harrogate is also very close to the picturesque city of York and the busy city of Leeds. There is a regular bus and train service to both these cities, so there really is something for everyone.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
