There is an intercom reception with immediate answer, and staff will attend to guests upon check-in and check-out and for any queries within 5 minutes of ringing throughout office hours. The owner resides in the sister guest house, which is just a few feet away, and is available via the intercom at all other times. With the Aston's 4-star sister hotel around the corner, the staff will always endeavour to upgrade guests during quiet periods at no extra cost.

The Aston has a small lounge in which you can relax. A bar is also available upon request. Dinner is available upon request at the Aston's sister guest house.

Reception staff are available during the day via the intercom system and will always be there within 5-minutes of ringing. Full payment is required on check-in. Please note that there will be no breakfast available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.

Travel information

By Car From York: - Proceed along the A6460 and at the main roundabout, take the turn onto the A59 Skipton Road. - Proceed, and take the 5th left onto Kings Road. - Thereafter, proceed past the pelican crossing and turn left onto Franklin Mount. From Leeds: - Come into Harrogate on the A61, and at the main roundabout turn right onto the A6040. - Proceed to the next roundabout, and turn left onto the A59. - Proceed, and take the 5th left onto Kings Road. - Continue as above. The hotel can send a map by post or email, on request.

Area information

The Aston is situated in a quiet, tree lined street, just 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and 2 minutes' walk from the main exhibition halls and conference centre. Also located a short walk away are the beautiful Valley Gardens of Harrogate, the famous Pump Room Museum and the marvellous Betty's Tea Rooms. There is a very varied selection of bars and excellent restaurants, and a bustling night life. Harrogate is also very close to the picturesque city of York and the busy city of Leeds. There is a regular bus and train service to both these cities, so there really is something for everyone.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
