Every floor has its own adventurers theme, exploring the animals and plant life of Africa, Asia or the Arctic. The rooms are also decorated according to these themes, reflecting the style of the 19th century, but with all modern amenities. The modern amenities include: individually adjustable air conditioning, bathrooms with either a bath tub or experience shower, hotel Infotainment (flat-screen TV, pay TV, video on demand, video text and radio) and a safe with a plug socket for your laptop.

Hotel details

The WellFit fitness room and sauna are located on the fifth floor of the striking hotel tower. The imaginative lighting and decor of the wellness area create an arctic ambience. The 5 air-conditioned conference rooms and 2 business suites can be joined together and can seat up to 220 people. All conference rooms feature state-of-the-art technology.

Food & Beverages

The hotel's Baobab Bar & Café is a popular meeting place and is decorated with items from around the world. Here, you can enjoy classic cocktails, a wide range of exotic drinks, and delicious snacks. Relax in front of the open fireplace and socialise with other guests. The Baobab is open daily from 16:00 until 01:00. Modelled on the exotic and colonial design of the 19th century, the Restaurant Augila welcomes you to try fresh specialities from around the world. The show kitchen is integrated within the buffet area. In summer, you can relax on the outdoor terrace. The Augila serves breakfast from 06:30 until 10:30 from Mondays to Saturdays.On Sundays, breakfast is available until 12:00. You can dine à la carte from 12:00 until 14:30 and from 18:00 until 23:00.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 3.00 per hour.

Public parking is possible on site and costs EUR 15.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

American breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person.  American breakfast is free of charge for children up to 6 years.  American breakfast costs EUR 7.50 per child under 12 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  One child under 12 years stays free of charge in an extra bed.  One older child or adult is charged EUR 39.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
