You will be fascinated by the original design of the hotel. The rooms are individually furnished with a unique combination of different bedside tables, 2 types of lampshades, patterned carpets and colourful saris. The design is a mixture of a colonial style with classic modernity. The colour scheme features warm colours such as cacao and champagne. Single rooms, double rooms and junior suites can be booked. In addition to the listed facilities, all rooms feature a double bed with top-quality bedding, a flat-screen TV, iHome, free internet access, individually adjustable room temperature and windows that can be opened.

The George has a modern, elegant and exclusive feel, blended with a dash of creativity and a cheerful design. In terms of colour, most of the hotel is decorated in a spectrum of colours between black and white. Fresh patterns and colours interrupt the classic interior, rounding off the entire ambience. Cacao-coloured floorboards, modern versions of Chesterfield furniture, plush carpets and plissé fabrics complete the classic design. The hotel features a bright design due to an abundance of glass and the clever use of light. The house is appointed with hand-woven fabrics, high-quality carpet and select items of furniture. Guests can also arrange to use the spacious club rooms with state-of-the-art technology for a whole host of events.

Food & Beverages

The elegant Restaurant DaCaio offers views of the lively St. Georg Straße and specialises in delicious Italian cuisine and fine Italian wines. The Bar DaCaio, a British-style bar in the heart of Hamburg, features comfortable club chairs and English-style furnishings. Here, you can enjoy a morning espresso or sample an exquisite selection of drinks and cocktails until midnight. Afternoon Tea is served here between 15:00 and 18:00 every day. The intimate library offers a calm refuge from the bustle of the city, and its cosy, private atmosphere invites you to relax with a cup of tea or glass of whiskey. Smoking is allowed here. The spacious private dining room is the perfect place to dine in an exclusive, intimate ambience. The hotel offers individually designed menus tailored to your personal wishes.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

American breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
