Area information

A trip on the Hunsrück railway from Boppard to Ehr is a special treat, along one of the steepest and most beautiful sections of railway in Germany. The region offers many cultural opportunities. In the cultural centre at Emmelshausen there is a wide range of world-famous musicals, operas, operettas, theatrical and dance performances, cabaret. In addition, there is a great variety of leisure pursuits available locally, such as hiking, horse riding, minigolf, skating, cycling, tennis and going for rides in a horse-drawn carriage.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 2.50 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
