Area information

Habkern, Lombachalp, Hochmoorwildnis, away from the beaten path of tourism. Approximately 650 inhabitants live at 1100 meters above sea level in four scattered village-like settlements. Habkern has 51 square km. and is one of the largest municipalities of Switzerland. The little Bernese Oberland village lies hidden away in a wind-protected and fog-free side valley. Habkern offers its visitors a world that is unharmed - a real Heidiland.

Travel information

Journey by car Drive on the A6/A8 in the direction of Interlaken, Thun. Leave the A8 and drive straight on the Därligenstrasse. You now pass the entry into Interlaken. Turn left into the Rugenparkstrasse. Drive to the roundabout at the train station and take the 2nd exit Leave the train station square and turn left into the Bahnhofstrasse. Leave the Bahnhofstrasse and continue straight on the Scheidgasse. Leave the Scheidgasse and keep straight on to the Beatenbergstrasse. Leave the Beatenbergstrasse and keep driving straight on. You now pass the entry to Habkern. Follow the street.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
