Area information

The most important attraction of Gyula is the Castle Bath with its curative thermal water. It is one of the most beautiful thermal baths of Hungary with more than 1 million visitors so far. The 8,5-hectare, 200 year-old national park of the Almássy Castle invites you for a relaxing stroll. Gyula is famous for its rich history. The only Gothic brick castle in Central Europe that is still intact was built here in the 14th century and is the symbol of Gyula. The Castle Theatre is one of the most prestigious summer theatres of Hungary.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

18 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 11.00 per person.  Half board costs EUR 6.00 per child under 14 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
