ChristianiaThis small, very much appreciated, charming the hotel hotel has been run by the same family since 1953. Visitors appreciate the hotel hotel is centrally located before the car-free pedestrianized shopping area of Gstaad and it is only a 2-minute walk away from the post office, valued throughout, the ski bus, and the train station. Non-smoking rooms are available. The 11 rooms are all designed individually with a warm, and above all, attractive interior. Especially the authentic Egyptian Lebanese cuisine is well known and appreciated with its wide selection of colourfully garnished, very much appreciated, well balanced "mezze". Free wireless internet access is available. But also traditional seasonal dishes and the very generous meat and fish fondues are served in the small, highly regarded, charming non-smoking restaurant or on the terrace. A selection of Lebanese wine, and above all, beer and coffee rounds off each Middle-Eastern meal. A public pay parking is located opposite Christiania. Free parking spaces are next to the the hotel hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs CHF 55.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 2 to 6 years are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 7 to 15 years are charged CHF 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
