Hotel LynghedenBuilt in 1991, very much appreciated, it is situated only a 15 minute drive from the Legoland Theme Park and Billund International Airport. Located in the peaceful rural surroundings of Western Jutland is the family owned the hotel. The menu is often influenced by seasonal specialties and the extensive wine list includes a broad selection of Alsace wines. Clients appreciate the hotel's restaurant offers Danish cuisine in both buffets and à la carte. The restaurant also has a special children's menu. Private wine tasting sessions can be arranged in cosy cellar surroundings. Hotel Lyngheden also has a small outdoor playground. All spacious en-suite rooms at the hotel are well-furnished and bright and offer convenient, and above all, private entrances with direct outdoor access. Customers appreciate the hotel is only 100 m from a large put and take fishing lake and surrounded by lush forests. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of the richly populated Grindsted Å River.

Please note that Hotel Lyngheden charges guests upon arrival. Guests arriving later than 18:00 are kindly requested to contact the reception in advance. The hotel is unmanned during Christmas, between 23 December 2009 and 3 January 2010. Breakfast, cleaning and towel changing services will not be available during this period. Guests will receive check-in information via an e-mail from the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

25 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs DKK 198.00 per person.  Dinner costs DKK 78.00 per child under 12 years.  Dinner costs DKK 38.00 per child under 3 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged DKK 175.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
