Restaurant Schmitte and Gaststuebli: Enjoy the passion for good eating and drinking in a cosy atmosphere. The Restaurant "Schmitte", formerly a smithy, you are pampered with culinary highlights. In the cosy "Gaststuebli" we serve Fondue Chinoise and other specialities of our kitchen. Restaurant Alpterrassen: Our guests enjoy our chef's varied 6-course evening menus, with the impressive Eiger mountain as a background and a view of our well-groomed hotel garden. Bar and Lounge: The meeting place for our guests at almost any time of day. At our hotel bar, in the lounge at the fireplace or in the library, our bar team serves a cup of coffee or tea, cocktails or very fine sherry, port or a grappa before and after dinner.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the business centre and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible on site and charges are applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

American breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 130.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
