Travel information

By Car: - Before entering Grindelwald, take the 1st exit at the roundabout next to the Shell-Gas station, towards Grindelwald Grund. - Pass the railway station, drive over the tracks and turn right over the next bridge. - From here, follow the signs to Gasthaus Aspen. By Public Transport: Next to the train station in Grindelwald Village you will find the bus terminal. Every hour there is a bus connection to Wärgistal / Itramen. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the total price of the reservation will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 5 to 8 years are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 9 to 12 years are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 13 to 16 years are charged CHF 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
