There are over 70 pistes with a total of 182 km of pure gliding pleasure for beginners and experts alike. Cycling and hiking - Experience the awe-inspiring mountains of the Bernese Oberland. Diverse trails for hiking and cycling allow you to explore the region to your heart’s content. Tennis and golf - There are 6 outdoor clay courts at the Mettenberg Tennis Centre, as well as a driving range and a 5 hole golf course. Extreme sports - Extreme sports fans can get their adrenaline kick here too. The region is well known for the variety of possibilities on offer, including river rafting, paragliding, hang gliding, sky diving, hydrospeed, house running, zorbing and much more.

At Bern Belp airport, an airport taxi will take you to the railway station. - Zurich Airport: Rail: Distance 229 km - Travel time 3 hours and 45 minutes. Road: Distance 196 km - Travel time 2 hours and 45 minutes. - Geneva-Cointrin: Rail: Distance 247 km - Travel time 3 hours and 56 minutes. Road: Distance 207 km - Travel time 3 hours. - Basle-Mulhouse EuroAirport: Rail: Distance 196 km - Travel time 3 hours and 36 minutes. Road: Distance 173 km - Travel time 2 hours and 30 minutes. - Berne-Belp: Rail: Distance 81 km - Travel time 1 hour and 58 minutes. Road: Distance 96 km - Travel time 1 hour and 5 minutes. By Car: - From Basle, Geneva or Zürich, take the motorways via Bern to Spiez. - From Spiez onwards, good main roads lead to Grindelwald via Interlaken. By Train: Fast and direct trains run daily to Interlaken from many main cities in Europe. From Interlaken Ost, there is a connecting train to Grindelwald (travel time is approximately 35 minutes).

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Half board costs CHF 30.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
