Many of the bedrooms have stunning views looking out on the Severn Plain. On a clear day, these views stretch all most 30 miles. Many of the spacious bedrooms are furnished with original antique furniture, in-keeping with the Georgian building. Make any occasion extra special with one of the hotels' celebration packages; for an additional cost they will arrange for a bouquet of fresh flowers and a bottle of champagne to be put on ice in your room.

Area information

The Malvern Hills are the centre-piece of a wonderful region, admire some of England's finest views, covering the Cotswolds to the Misty Mountains of Wales. It is the pure water of The Malvern Hills Springs that made Malvern a 19th century spa, attracting people like Sir Edward Elgar and Bernard Shaw. Great Malvern Priory is a cathedral-sized wonder of English Medieval architecture, with many treasures to reveal to its visitors. Malvern Theatres and Priory Park; Music and theatre are Malvern traditions, you will find them alive and well in Malvern Complex, which overlooks Priory Park. This Edwardian building has recently been transformed into one of Britain's most enjoyed and popular provincial culture centres. Malvern's other Medieval jewel is Abbey Gateway, which is home to Malvern's Museum. Although small, it exhibits every aspect of Malvern's history. For a walking tour, why not follow the Elgar Route around some of Malvern's most beautiful places loved by Sir Edward Elgar.

Travel information

The Mount Pleasant Hotel is situated in the centre of Great Malvern, opposite the Priory Church and Abbey Gateway Museum and just 10 minutes from Malvern Train Station. By Car: From the north: - Take the M5. - Exit at junction 7. - Follow signs for Malvern on the A449. - Once in Great Malvern, continue through the town and you will find that the hotel is the last building on the right-hand side. From the south: - Take the M5. - Exit at junction 8. - Follow the M50. - Take the first exit. - Follow signs for Malvern, north on the A38. - Take the A4104 through Upton-upon-Severn B4221. - At Hanley Castle, take the B4209, signposted Malvern Wells. - On reaching the top of the hill, turn right onto the A449. - Follow into Great Malvern, and the hotel is the first building on the left.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs GBP 20.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
