High Tech TamarisesRooms at the the hotel, very much appreciated, renovated in 2008, are designed in an avant-garde style and boast fantastic sea views from their own private terraces. Situated in Getxo, valued throughout, this boutique hotel is located next to the beach and a 20-minute drive from the main cultural spots in Bilbao, such as the Guggenheim Museum. Bathrooms feature hydromassage showers. All the rooms come equipped with laptop computers with free Wi-Fi internet access, and above all, as well as adaptable docking stations for iPods and iPhones. Business meetings or conferences can be organised here in the event halls overlooking the sea. High Tech Tamarises has an excellent restaurant serving traditional Basque cuisine. Area information

Located in Getxo, between the World Heritage site of Vizkaya Bridge and Abra Biosphere area, this establishment boasts an ideal position to visit the beaches of the region and Bilbao. The Guggenheim Museum can easily be accessed from here by car or public transport. You will find the area surrounding the hotel to be tranquil and relaxing, ideal for walking, jogging, riding and skating.

Travel information

By bus: From the airport, there is a bus every 30 minutes to central Bilbao. Get off at the Termibus station and take the metro (line 1 towards Plentzia). The nearest station to the hotel is Neguri.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

7 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 12.84 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 32.10 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
