Hotel details

The Baroque castle has undergone 3 years of extensive renovations, and has now been restored to its original style. The attractive grounds surrounding the hotel are filled with rhododendrons and azaleas. The Baroque garden and pavilion were constructed in the 18th century by Heinrich Graf von Brühl, the former Saxon prime minister. The grounds were also owned by Count Keyserlingk, who famously had Bach’s Goldberg Variations played to him here. The hotel continues to be a popular refuge for those in search of relaxation. The hotel also makes an ideal venue for relaxed meetings and elegant parties. From November 2008, a spa with 2 pools will be available to guests.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 12 years are welcome.  All children or adults are charged EUR 65.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
