The Newcastle Marriott Hotel Metrocentre has 50 rooms. All of the spacious and modern rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. Whether you are exploring the region as a tourist, visiting the area on business or attending a conference, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven. Each room has either one king-size bed and a sofa bed or 2 queen-size beds. The rooms are ideal for families and have down comforters, designer duvets, cotton-rich linens and soft, fluffy pillows. The en suite bathrooms all have baths with showers overhead. There are also 3 themed rooms available, with 2 Arabian-themed rooms and one room with a Wild West theme.

Food & Beverages

The hotel’s restaurant is the Rare Bar & Grill. This newly refurbished restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers an extensive menu of international dishes. The food served is simple, freshly prepared and flavourful, made with the finest, freshest local produce available.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs GBP 15.00 per 24 hours.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

When booking more than 9 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
