Hotel and Restaurant Warteck – this is how fine gastronomy looks like. The "Gläßel’s Warteck" is a meeting place for connoisseurs and a family business with stylish ambiance and attention to detail. The hotel is centrally located, just a 2 minutes’ walk from Germany’s largest market square.

Food & Beverages

The chef of the hotel’s own restaurant, Werner Gläßel, is member of the association of "Eurotheques" chefs. He spoils the guest with a fresh and high-quality cuisine at our restaurant "Warteck". Here, culinary delights and creativity come together. The restaurant has been highly praised and awarded in recent gourmet guides. In addition to that, we offer a large selection of more than 400 fine wines.

Please note that the hotel is closed on Tuesdays! On arrival on a Tuesday or after 10:00pm, we urgently ask to contact the hotel in order to arrange for the key disposal.

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
