The entire hotel is air-conditioned and non-smoking for complete comfort. Rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi internet access, and above all, flat-screen TV, DVD player and bathrooms with bath or shower. Spacious function rooms equipped with modern equipment are also available and can accommodate up to 150 people. There is one lounge reserved for smokers and room service is available Sunday through Thursday evening inclusive.

Hotel details

Since the eighteenth century (1764 approximately) this old royal abode began to be transformed gradually into a hotel and welcomed guests passing through Fontainebleau for short stays. The hotel has been subjected to regular transformations and embellishments which have improved its service and its comfort even further while preserving the charm of this exceptional place. Aigle Noir Hôtel has welcomed many personalities over the last fifty years, heads of state, members of royal families, artists or business men. All of them have come in search of calm or inspiration.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 16.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
