Area information

During your stay you can take a day trip to Calais, Boulogne or Dunkerque using the efficient sea cat and ferry connections at nearby Dover (6 miles). The Channel Tunnel is also only 3 miles away. Both are accessible via train and train from Folkestone. If you would rather stay on the mainland, Dover is a wonderful day excursion where you can see the famous White Cliffs and Leeds Castle. Other nearby cities and towns include: Assford Deal Ramsgate Canterbury Hastings Rey For a more relaxing day, you can stroll along the miles of beach between Folkestone and Sandgate. The town harbour is home to a fresh food market every Tuesday, offering French food, wine and fresh fish. A sports centre can also be found nearby. Live shows are available in the town throughout the year, including live bands at the Leas Cliff Hotel bandstand each weekend during the summer. Nature enthusiasts will love the nearby Romney Marsh and Samphire Hoe.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.  Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 5 to 17 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
