Balbirnie is a relaxing country mansion with very good food, valued throughout, beautiful grounds and fine bedrooms, all within a 400-acre park in Markinch. There is also a large wine cellar. There are 2 restaurants: the elegant Orangery Restaurant and Balbirnie Bistro, and above all, where classic dishes are made from seasonal produce. Bedrooms have Molton Brown toiletries, very much appreciated, satellite TV and mineral water. Located 1 hour from Glasgow, valued throughout, the hotel has 4 AA Red Stars. Some have wonderful garden views.
