The hotel bar is the ideal place to round off a pleasant evening with a relaxing drink. Travel information

By Train: From the main station at Freiburg, take the regional train to Feldberg-Bärental or Feldberg-Altglashütten, which go every hour. From Feldburg, take the bus for the remainder of the journey. From the Airport: Take the airport bus from Basel-Mulhouse to Freiburg train station and follow the instructions above.

Area information

You will find idyllic hiking trails at your doorstep. A ski lift is just a short walk away, as are cross-country ski runs for all levels of expertise Popular day-trip destinations include the the Europa Park theme park, the Schluchsee and Titisee lakes as well as Lake Constance with its Mainau island. Alsace, Strasbourg and even Switzerland are also easily accessible from the Black Forest. Many activities for children are also available in the area, including adventure playgrounds, children’s hiking trails, game parks and much more.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 42 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 6 to 14 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
