Melvill House is situated about 200 yards from a beautiful sandy beach and a short walk from the harbour, waterfront shops, pubs and restaurants. Also nearby there is: - Pendennis Castle - National Maritime Museum Cornwall (a 5 minute walk from the house). - Plays at the Minack open air theatre. - Truro City, with its magnificent cathedral, is just a 20 minute drive. - Local gardens at Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah. - Falmouth is a good base to explore Cornwall's Roseland and Lizard peninsulas. Further afield: The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within an hour's drive. Your hosts have many ideas for trips and visits for all ages.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
