Area information

Within 15 kilometres of La Villaine you will find markets, historical sites and beautiful castles and vineyards. Enjoy sports activities like cycling, walking, canoeing, tennis, golf, horse riding and fishing. A 10-kilometre walking trail starts outside La Villaine, leading you through the Echandon valley to the Girault Bridge. The GR46 walking trail also passes through the area. Within half an hour drive you will find 3 different golf courses. Apart from visiting local vineyards in Esvres, La Villaine can arrange visits to the vineyards of Vouvray, Mont Louis, Chinon, Bourgueil and Saumur.

If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
