Food & Beverages

Enjoy light, exquisite creations in the NERO restaurant. Hearty, country-style dishes await the guests in the Hugenpöttchen restaurant, which is located in the coach house. Both restaurants feature an attractive outdoor terrace. The NERO restaurant is open from Wednesday to Saturday. In order to avoid dissappointment, make sure to book your table in advance.

FROM DÜSSELDORF (A 52) Take the A 52 motorway in the direction of Essen/Oberhausen up to Breitscheid junction, exit Rat.-Breitscheid, 200 m to traffic lights, filter right in the direction of Velbert (B 227); 1.8 km to the roundabout (ESSO and BP), turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig; 1.3 km further on turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig, 3.3 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel (heed the right of way). FROM COLOGNE OR OBERHAUSEN (A 3) At Breitscheid junction get in the Essen lane, keep right, exit Rat.-Breitscheid, 200 m to traffic lights, filter right in the direction of Velbert (B 227); 1.8 km to the roundabout (ESSO and BP), turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig; 1.3 km further on turn left in the direction of E-Kettwig, 3.3 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel (heed the right of way). FROM ESSEN (A 52) Take the A 52 motorway in the direction of Düsseldorf, exit Essen-Kettwig, turn right in the direction of E-Kettwig; drive through Kettwig (in the direction of Düsseldorf) over the Ruhr Bridge. At the end of Kettwig head right towards Düsseldorf; 1.2 km down the road is the entrance to the Hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 75.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
