In the surroundings you can find the coastline, castles, Alnwick Gardens, Hadrian’s Wall, Belsay Hall and Cragside House. A direct train will take you to Edinburgh in under an hour, whilst the vibrant city of Newcastle is within 20 minutes.

Travel information

By Car: - Take the A1. - Turn east off the A1 trunk road, signposted towards Eshott (6 miles north of Morpeth and 9 miles south of Alnwick). - The Hall's gates are approximately 1.5 miles down the country lane.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children older than 12 years are welcome.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
