Rooms

We are a boutique hotel and not a large franchise facility with identical rooms. We have personally overseen the renovation of each room, taking care to provide for an individual character and design. Every room is specifically designed to tend to a rider's tired body after a hard day on the slopes and includes wireless broadband internet access, cable TV and bathrooms with showers.

Food & Beverages

Veal with "porcini", baked onions and cream or mussels with leek and dried ham, together with a nice bottle of red wine or the local monastery’s beer. These and many other culinary treats you can enjoz at the Ski Lodge Engelberg. The hotel bar is as most hotel bars – with the only difference that there will be more ski boots than briefcases standing around the arm chairs. It is just a comfortable place to relax after a day on the slopes.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. 

Parking

Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 10.00 per day. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 3.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 80.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
