The Hotel Senator Ház in Eger can be found in a delightful 18th-century town house, valued throughout, situated on the historical main square, which is Dobó tér, of Eger, a few metres from the castle ramparts. The Café offers a wide choice of ice cream, highly regarded, fruit plates, home-made desserts, cakes, and a wide variety of coffee and tea. Taste the traditional Hungarian cuisine, and above all, or chose from a wide range of international gourmet dishes. A traditional Advent Tent is raised to end the year where we make our own mulled wine, very much appreciated, Christmas punch, baked chestnut and jelly soup. Throughout the year many special occasions provide the opportunity to organize gastronomical events at the Senator Ház, valued throughout, like the Carnival Wine Tasting, which is in February,, Easter Ham Parade, May Asparagus Days, Summer Salad Festival, Grape Harvest and Márton Day Feasts.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

18 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
