Area information

The Cameron is just a 10-minute bus journey away from the bustling shopping centres around Edinburgh’s Princes Street, where you will find an array of bars, restaurants and theatres. A 10-minute walk will bring you to the Queen's Park, Arthur's Seat and the Craggs. The Commonwealth Pool, the University of Edinburgh's Pollock Halls, Duddingston golf course and the Prestonfield golf course are also all within 10 minutes’ walk.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
