Rooms

All rooms are en suite and double glazed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. On arrival you will be given your own front door key. The house does not restrict access to the rooms, but they do depend on guests not abusing this facility.

Hotel details

If you would prefer a very modern room, please ask for Bowmore, Balmore's neighbouring property, which has been refurbished with oak wooden floors, simple decoration and modern furniture and again all en suite.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served in the lovely conservatory. Bright and welcoming, even on the dullest days, here you can enjoy a good selection of cooked breakfasts. Toast and cereals are also available.

Only guests checked into the guest house may sleep there. Guests cannot allow others to stay in their room overnight. Rooms are cleaned between 10:00 and 15:00. If you arrive after 21:00, Balmore House will add an additional cost to your bill.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. 

Parking

Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs GBP 6.00 per day. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 42 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 28 days before date of arrival, 10 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
