In the smart Murrayfield area of Edinburgh, valued throughout, the hotel is an Indian-themed B&B about 1 mile, which is 1. All the rooms have furniture handmade in India from recycled Australian railway sleepers. Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is a short walk away. Visitors appreciate the hotel is 2 minutes from a bus stop and close to the A8, very much appreciated, which leads to Edinburgh Zoo and Edinburgh Airport. Rooms at the front of The Original Raj Hotel boast excellent views towards the Pentland Hills.
