Travel information

By Car: The Lodge is situated on the A167 (Old A1) in Crossgate Moor, in between Neville's Cross Junction and the Bear Park turning traffic lights heading North. The Lodge is located on the left-hand side just before the Bear Park traffic lights.

Area information

The historic city of Durham is home to a number of cultural attractions, including Durham Cathedral and Castle. Nearby Newcastle offers the Angel of the North and excellent shopping at the Metro Centre. Other attractions: Beamish Museum Durham Prince Bishop Shopping Centre

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.  Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
