Food & Beverages

Start each day with the Radisson’s renowned Super Breakfast Buffet, which offers a choice of over 87 breakfast items. The stylish Filini Cocktail Bar offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including an extensive wine list. The bar is open from early until late and offers a range of fresh coffees, as well as a menu of light meals.

The Filini restaurant will be closed from 24 December 2009 until 04 January 2010 (inclusive). Bar and room service will operate as normal. The Pace Health Club will have different opening hours over the Christmas period.

By Car: - Take the A1 (M). - Exit at junction 62. - Follow the signs to Durham City Centre along the A690. - After crossing the River Wear, stay in the left-hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights. - Take the first immediate left to Framwellgate Waterside. - The hotel is to the left. By Train: Durham Railway Station is a short walk from the hotel with regular links to Edinburgh in just 2 hours and London in 2.5 hours. By Air: Durham is well connected by road and rail with Newcastle Airport and Durham Tees Valley Airport.

Area information

Durham is well known for its ancient cathedral, which was also used as a set for the Harry Potter films, and for being the home of the third oldest university in England. The Millennium Hall regional conference and events centre is also nearby. A number of major ports, including Hartlepool, are within easy reach.
