Rooms

The guestrooms are located in either the 1649 homestead or in the 1795 carriage house. Each room features fine Georgian Mahogany furnishings, rich tapestries, antique artwork, polished wood floors warmed by oriental rugs, and overstuffed lounge chairs and sofas. The rooms still boast the original millworks and exposed beams and have in-room fire sprinklers and warning systems.

Food & Beverages

Maples and Coppers, the original homestead dining room and winter kitchen provide an authentic Colonial setting for fine dining. The Frost Sawyer Tavern features granite walls surrounding the original, 1649 cooking hearth fireplace. Lunch and dinner are served with New England style. The Terrace offers open-air dining in the spring, summer, and fall. Lunch is served Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM. Dinner is served nightly from 5 PM until 9 PM.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of USD 25.00 will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to two children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All further older children or adults are charged USD 28.00 per night when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged USD 25.00 per night for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for cots in the room.
