The hostel has common areas with TVs and there are vending machines for light snacks and soft drinks. Safety deposit boxes and laptop safes are available at an additional cost. Internet terminals are available for guests use at a small additional cost and there are also international payphones. The hostel also offers ironing facilities, towel hire and DVD rentals from reception.

During busy periods, Ashfield House may ask you to move rooms (to a room of the same type, or an upgrade). Children under 16 years cannot sleep in dormitory rooms shared with other guests. When booking, it is possible that members of your group may not be allocated the same room. You must have photo ID at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

21.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
