A timeless landmark in the heart of Dublin city centre, The Shelbourne Hotel is nevertheless only 30 minutes from Dublin Airport. The hotel has 13 meeting rooms with 10,635 square feet (988 m²) of meeting space in total. The 13 meeting and event facilities are great for everything from intimate private dining to impressive business conferences. Each room has its own unique character and style. The most famous room is the Constitution Suite, where the Irish Constitution was drafted in 1922 under the chairmanship of Michael Collins. The largest meeting room is the Great Room with a maximum seating capacity of 465 people. The Great Room offers traditional elegance alongside state-of-the-art lighting and audiovisual equipment. The hotel’s luxury spa opens in 2009, offering a range of relaxation and leisure facilities and treatments.

The hotel offers a superb choice of dining venues, including The Saddle Room, a modern steak and seafood restaurant. The Lord Mayor’s Lounge serves Dublin’s only true afternoon tea and there is also the No. 27 Bar & Lounge and the Horseshoe Bar. The Lord Mayor's Lounge offers timeless elegance in a luxurious setting and is famous for afternoon tea. The lounge is for hotel residents only after 17:00. Voted Ireland’s Best Cocktail Bar at the Hospitality Ireland Awards, the No. 27 Bar & Lounge is the place to be and be seen on St. Stephen's Green. It has one of the most innovative cocktail menus in Ireland, serving everything from Classic Martinis to Peachtinis. A range of wines and champagnes are also available and the bar and lounge is open for lunch and dinner. The Horseshoe Bar is one of the most famous bars in Dublin and is the heartbeat of the city’s social scene. The bar is open from 15:00 on Mondays. The Saddle Room offers a range of international dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A full Irish breakfast buffet is available every day. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu, fresh baked breads and other delicacies. Steak and seafood are the restaurant’s specialities, with dishes made using fresh local produce a priority. The restaurant has an oyster bar and an open show kitchen, so guests can watch their food being prepared.

By Air: The hotel is approximately 6.25 miles (10 km) from Dublin Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. Alternatively, the airport coach and airport buses run regularly from the airport to the bus stop close to the hotel.

Situated in the heart of Dublin, the Shelbourne Hotel is close to all that the city has to offer. Explore the designer boutiques and famous department stores around Grafton Street. Follow in the footsteps of Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett and visit Trinity College or settle in with a pint at one of the City’s many beautiful pubs. Alternatively, you could venture a little further afield and visit the home of Dublin’s favourite drink, the Guinness Storehouse. Some of Ireland’s most stunning countryside and coastline is within easy reach of the hotel. Hotel staff will be happy to help you arrange a round of golf or various other activities and city tours.
