Mount Herbert Hotel has a friendly, warm atmosphere and refurbished rooms and public areas. There is secure parking and a sheltered private garden for barbecues in summer. Food & Beverages

Full Irish breakfasts and continental breakfasts are served in the restaurant daily. Vouchers can be purchased at reception. The Tritonville Bar has an extensive Bar Menu that serves hot food daily between 11:00 and 21:30. Lights snacks are available until 22:00. The hotel can also cater for private dining functions.

Area information

The Mount Herbert Hotel has a quiet, yet convenient location. The very heart of Dublin’s city centre is just a 25-minute stroll away. Alternatively the Lansdowne Road DART Station is located just around the corner from the hotel. Just 800 metres from the hotel, the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) consists of a number of exhibition halls, convention and conference rooms, a stadium, meeting rooms, bars, restaurants and a multipurpose venue.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

21.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 10.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs EUR 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One further child under 5 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
